Timor, originally sourced by the Valencia Family in Portugal for his owner has had a successful career in the sport of dressage under a number of riders. Timor found his way to Corvedale at the ripe old age of 23. Even at such an age he has shown no signs of slowing down. Timor has spent a number of years at small tour level but has all of the GP work at home. Having spent the last year with Timor Nick has worked on developing his strength and elasticity to further develop his ability to perform these movements to the best of his ability. Being of somewhat an experienced age, Timor has a full notebook of trick he likes to pull out, especially on competition days. These “trick cards” aren’t always required in the competition arena so it had taken a few outings to gain a greater understanding of how to get around these, but with some careful planning and tactical riding Nick has done a great job of eliminating these from the performance and has started to get some consistent scores. Most recently winning the Lusitano associated championships at PSG level, with one judge noting the “super Harmony” between the pair. Timor will continue to work for as long as he is still happy and enthusiastic about life, as with all of our stallions her at Corvedale Timor spends much of his time in his turnout pen, being as normal horse as he can be.
